James Daly serves as the Vice President of Den of Lions Soccer Club and Director of the MLS GO Program, playing a key role in both the club’s leadership and its player development pathway.
Holding a USSF D License, James brings a strong foundation of coaching knowledge combined with a deep passion for giving back to the community. His coaching journey began with a genuine desire to support and mentor local youth—an opportunity to provide the same guidance and positive influence that helped shape him growing up.
Throughout his coaching career, James has experienced many meaningful moments, but one of his most notable achievements includes qualifying for and competing in the National Championships in Colorado—an accomplishment that reflects the hard work, growth, and commitment of both players and staff.
James describes his coaching style as player-focused and development-driven, emphasizing confidence, strong fundamentals, and a positive team environment. His approach ensures that every athlete is supported in reaching their full potential both on and off the field.
His primary goal as a coach is to develop players into not only better athletes, but confident, disciplined individuals prepared for success beyond the game. He instills core values such as discipline, respect, teamwork, accountability, and resilience—teaching players to handle both success and adversity with maturity.
Under his leadership, Den of Lions continues to stand out through its commitment to player development and character building, creating an environment where athletes are challenged, supported, and inspired to grow.
