Gabriel Morocho serves as Head Coach for the 2012 Ravens and 2011 Vikings at Den of Lions Soccer Club, bringing passion, energy, and a strong commitment to player development.
Holding a USSF D License, Gabriel’s journey into coaching began from his own love for the game. As a player, soccer became his passion, and that passion naturally evolved into a desire to help young athletes enjoy the game while developing their skills.
For Gabriel, success is not defined by a single moment, but by the collective achievements of his players. He takes pride in every victory earned through hard work, dedication, and perseverance—valuing the growth and effort behind each accomplishment.
He describes his coaching style as more than just skill development—it’s about building character, competing with intelligence, and fostering a mindset of continuous learning. Gabriel creates an environment where players are challenged to grow both as athletes and as individuals.
His primary goal is to create a family-like atmosphere within his teams, where players support one another, push each other daily, and grow in a positive direction. He emphasizes guiding players toward making good decisions both on and off the field.
Gabriel instills values such as humility, resilience, and respect—teaching players the importance of overcoming setbacks, learning from challenges, and continuing to push forward with the right mindset.
